only critism would be that breakfast is served from 07.00 am, we had spoken to hotel management whenwe were going on aday trip and also leaving and they had said we could go to roof restaurant prior to 07.00 and could help ourselves to anything that may be out, chef was quite adament that nothing could be got prior to 07.00 a liitle disappointed by his attitude. secondly, unknowingly friends had stayed at the hotel a few days previously and had left a birthday card for my wife- the trip was her birthday present- she never received it! again it would have been nice for her. however would say that Fabio was excellant in advising where to go etc he certainly helped 100%.

Top Tip:
vatican was 15 min walk away, unforgetable experience.train system superb. people lovely. don't buy anything on the main streets around the vatican either goods or food tend to be pricey go down the side streets and you can find the same cheaper. if you can get one of the number of free guides around around the vatican who offer their services take it their knowledge is good. Jason the american was excellant- been there 5 years. trip to pompeii/ naples not to be missed. generally the best eating place for us was a small pizza/pasta restaurant not far from the hotel -can't remember the name sorry, chinese was iffy not like we get back in UK.
