The Mellini Hotel is housed behind a pristine 18th century neoclassical façade, formerly composed of two apartment buildings. A stairway at the entrance to the property leads to the lobby, which is flanked by white columns and features a wood-panelled reception desk. There is also a very pleasant sitting area with a brown carpet, red easy chairs, rectangular coffee tables and discreet spot lighting. The style is a refined mixture of classic and modern features. The 80 medium sized guestrooms are furnished in an English rustic style and are decorated in warm tones inspired by Art Deco, albeit with some Roman details. They feature soft neutral shades of taupe and brown with heavy striped drapes, cream upholstery, co-ordinating patterned bedspreads, and cherry wood furniture. Guests can enjoy drinks and snacks on the sunny roof terrace with its canvas awnings, potted lemon trees, climbing greenery and flowering planters. The hotel offers a full Continental buffet every morning in its breakfast room, which features blue upholstered chairs, cream linen table cloths and potted plants.
