Located down a tranquil street of Rome's Prati district, the Giulio Cesare Hotel is housed in a traditional patrician villa, which dates from the end of the 19th century. The understated grandeur of its exterior is reflected in the spacious lobby, which is decorated in cream tones and features Louis XVI furnishings. The lounge is equally elegant, with oriental carpets, old prints and paintings and a marble fireplace.
Notably quiet, thanks to the hotel’s position, the 90 medium sized guestrooms are finely appointed with rugs, full-length curtains and crystal chandeliers. All are clean and impeccably maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms.
The hotel’s bar serves a wide range of snacks throughout the day. Guests can also sip an aperitif in the inviting internal garden, while listening to the peaceful bubbling of the fountain. A rich Continental buffet is available in the newly remodelled breakfast room every morning from 07.00 to 10.30.
