Opened in 2004, the Palazzo Cardinali Cesi Hotel is housed in an elegant 17th century building, which is stylishly appointed with antique furniture, old books and silver chandeliers, creating a cosy, historical atmosphere. The medium sized lobby has a parquet floor and is decorated with frescoes on the walls and ceilings. The seating area is composed of Louis XIV sofas and wooden furniture. The 29 medium sized guestrooms feature refined, soothing décor, with cream coloured walls and well coordinated bedspreads and the curtains. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in its "Refectory" breakfast room, named to recall the monasteries where monks used to gather three times a day for meals, preceded and accompanied by prayers. It is a long, narrow room, with communal wooden tables. Next to the "Refectory" you will also find a small, friendly sitting room, which also offers a bar service. In the summer months guests can enjoy drinks in the lovely centre courtyard, which is lit by candles in the evenings.
